8 random facts about me:

1. Sometimes I dream in black and white and talk in my sleep

2. Have had a driving licence for nearly 11 years now, but I haven’t driven once.

3. I like biting … I am hopelessly trying to replace it with nibbling …

4. Four months after I took up pistol shooting , I finished 4th in the National Shooting Championship. I was 15 years old. I haven’t touched a pistol for more than 10 years now. So you are safe

5. Dreamed to “dig” in people’s past (archaeologist), or at least to “dig” in people’s souls and minds (psychologist). Instead of this I turned up “digging” people out of the mess they created themselves (lawyer).

6. I like singing in the shower … don’t think my neighbours fancy it tough.

7. My origins lay back in Eastern Europe and it’s where I grew up and where my parents still live, but my real home is Italy. Feel England as my second home and travel there as much as I can.

8. My worse vice is the lack of patience – I want ALL and I want it NOW.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!


Today is my birthday.

When I was a kid, my birthday was second best to Christmas. Though it was not as elaborate, it was a day set aside special just for me. I’m not a kid anymore… and I hardly feel this day “special”…

If I were granted just one birthday wish, it would be to feel again some of the most incredible feelings of self-worth, friendship and love during this time of year. More than anything I want to be surrounded by light-heartedness, happiness, love, and hopefully, along with that, a few good friends to have good time with.

With all my friends here on DA I decided to share today one of the most inspirational messages I have ever read - it’s the farewell letter of one of my favourite authors - Gabriel Garcia Marquez . It’s more than a piece of wisdom, it’s a lesson of living… hope you enjoy it.

“If for an instant God were to forget that I am rag doll and gifted me with a piece of life,
possibly I wouldn't say all that I think,
but rather I would think of all that I say.
I would value things,
not for their worth but for what they mean.
I would sleep little, dream more,
